Book in Progress

Around 2012, we are classmates from the studio Graphic design and visual communication wanted to publish a book at Prague's UMPRUM. The collision with reality came very quickly, but book X was successful thanks to the support partners of the Boom Tisk printer and Mondi paper mills to complete.

Years later, the idea was born in us to open this form of help to others as wellcreators, of which we have many around us. And that's how the Book in competition was bornProgress.

In the first year, 85 titles applied, of which 10 progressed to the finals.This took place as part of a small conference at the Center for Architecture and Urban Planning.

The speakers at the conference were heartthrobs who breathe and without for their projectswhose content would most likely not be translated into books.We thank Honzo Bouček, Pavlo Coufalík, Honzo for the lecturesKloss, Matěj Činčer, Vladimír 518 and Eliška Boumová from the Memorialof the national literature.

The winner of the competition was Juliána Chomová with her book Spiritists.She won Pergraphica paper from Mondi and a free print fromof the Quatro print company.

The entire event took place under the media auspices of Czechdesign.
